Sonos Studios Panel Discussion

So one of my first paid jobs. Photographing a panel discussion with music industry professionals in a nice small space in Shoreditch. The experience was quite enjoyable, and i also find that i could also shoot photographs that i find enjoyable; either at the same time as shooting for the client, or shooting between shots looking at things in the space. Either way, it was quite fun and i got some fun photographs. I wouldn’t consider them for anything other than blog work, but they’re still fun.

I have begun to face struggles with my anxiety by taking photographs and making images in the most autonomous way i could think of. By using disposable cameras i have relieved myself of any pressure when it comes to taking a photograph, except obviously for pressing the trigger. Rather than looking on this as a less technical and ‘easy’ way to take poor quality photographs, i am using it as a means to take any photograph that i feel like i need to. It isn’t about making good photographs, it’s about taking them without personal restrictions, and the easiest way to do that is to press the shutter. Done.
